Carole J. McCorkle Williams, 81, of Forward Township, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at home. She was the accountant for the family business, Tom’s Body Shop in Forward Township. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. A master quilter and member of the Mon Valley Quilt Club, she also enjoyed sewing, building puzzles and doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Born June 3, 1942, in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Helen Hough McCorkle. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas E.  Williams; daughters, Amy Brunazzi of Forward Township and Jennifer (Simone Meltesen) Williams of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Erin Brunazzi, Sarah (Stephen) Ciuca and Arthur Brunazzi; great-grandchildren, Trent, Sofia, Anson and Ellis; brother, Boyd McCorkle of the state of California; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, JoAnn Sayre; and best friend, Patty Speers. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 North Second Ave., Elizabeth, from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2023. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
