Mary Elizabeth Patrick, 88, transitioned from this life to heaven on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023. She was born in Brownsville on May 29, 1935, to the late Jacob Woods and Ruth Mae Wheeler Woods. She was the eldest child of four siblings. Mary graduated from Brownsville High School. She also attended California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work. Mary was a member of Orchard Christian Fellowship Church in Monessen. The Rev. John Custer Sr. was her pastor. She worked tirelessly in the communities, bringing culture and informative events to the public. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Patrick; sister, Anna Mae Calloway; brother, Dock Lee Woods; and son, Raymond Maurice Crable. Mary leaves to cherish her memory one son, Kevin Crable of Minnesota; two daughters, Cheryl L. Crable of Missouri and The Rev. Renita L. Crable f PA (KaKa Diniz); granddaughter, Fatina L.
