The Elizabeth Forward School Board approved a few new additions to the district unrelated to high school renovations during Wednesday night’s regular meeting.
Superintendent Keith Konyk outlined a $14,375 Grable Foundation Grant the district was awarded. The grant is part of the Western PA Learning 2025 Alliance, which the district has been part of the past three years.
“It allows us to work with other districts and communicate with districts within the region,” Konyk said. “There are 35 school districts that are a part of that Western PA Alliance, so it allows us to have a good relationship with those folks and it also gives us access to some national things as well.”
