Frank “Frankie” J. Gogol, 45, of North Charleroi, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 17, 2023. Frankie was born on Nov. 3, 1977, to Francis and Sherrie Cherocci Gogol. Frankie was a 1997 graduate of Charleroi Area High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed going boating with his family. Frankie loved spending his free time outdoors. He was a member of the Charleroi Fishing Club and enjoyed going to his niece’s and nephews’ sporting events. Frankie will be remembered for his sense of humor, his caring personality and his love for his family. Surviving to cherish Frankie’s memories are his parents, Frank and Sherrie Gogol; his sisters, Kristin (Eric) Large and Kelly (Jason) Pendo; his niece and nephews, Bryce and Levi Large and Caden and Avery Pendo; Frankie’s Nan, Marie Cherocci; and his aunt, Teresa (John) West. Frankie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete Cherocci and paternal grandparents, Edward and Eleanor Gogol; and his uncle, Thomas Gogol. Per the wishes of the family, all services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A private interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
