The preliminary hearing for a Rostraver murder suspect has been continued for a seventh time.
Magisterial District Judge Wayne Vlasic granted the seventh continuance in the ongoing case of Keven Van Lam Wednesday.
The hearing was set for this morning, but late yesterday afternoon Vlasic’s staff confirmed it was continued until Oct. 18.
Lam is charged with murder of the first degree, two counts of homicide and tampering with physical evidence in the murder of Boyke Budiarachman, 49, who was shot in the parking lot of Rostraver Square Nov. 5.
If the hearing is actually held Oct. 18, it will just 18 days before the one-year anniversary of the murder.
It was unclear whether this continuance was requested by the district attorney or defense attorney David Shrager.
