Marianne Ruschak Pergola – Monongahela
Marianne Ruschak Pergola, 73, of Monongahela, Carroll Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, in her home. Born May 24, 1950, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Olive Hayward Ruschak. After her graduation in 1968 from Monongahela High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Duquesne University. She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish (St. Francis of Assisi) in Finleyville and loved spending time with her precious granddaughters, who meant the world to her. Marianne is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gerald A. Pergola; a son, Jason M. Pergola of Monongahela; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer M. (Brian) Kirchner of Baldwin; two granddaughters, Kylie and Kenzie Kirchner; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daniel (Lorraine) Pergola of Turkeytown; and three nephews, Daniel (Cheri) Pergola, Jamie (Ashley) Pergola and Jeffrey Pergola. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial starting at 10 a.m. at St. John XXIII Parish (St. Francis of Assisi Church), Finleyville.
