Brownsville to celebrate Community Day

Brownsville is undergoing a cultural renaissance. That energy will be in full swing today as the borough’s Community Day celebration kicks off with entertainment, food, vendors and local artisans. The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts is involved this year to help curate a vibrant celebration of community spirit and artistic talent. MVAA now has a hub in Brownsville where creative individuals flock to learn something new or share their talents. Community Days, sponsored by Somerset Trust, will begin at 3 p.m. today in Snowden Square.
