Stuff the Bus set for Sunday in Charleroi

Charleroi Area School Board Director Tom Nutting will turn 75 later this month, but Sunday will mark an early birthday celebration as he invites members of the community to Stuff the Bus. The event began in 2018 after Nutting was inspired by a social media post from a former student. Each year, instead of birthday presents, he asks members of the community to help him fill a school bus with supplies for students in the district. It will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Smitty’s Marina in Lower Speers.
