Diane Kay Novisel – Donora

Diane Kay Novisel, 62, of Donora, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023. A daughter of the late William and Ruth Ann (Rodgers) Novisel Sr., she was born in Charleroi on Feb. 25, 1961. Diane has been a resident of Donora for the last five years. Diane was Catholic by faith. She was content with the little things in life and accepted all of life’s challenges with grace. She enjoyed her time at Galleton Commons and the Bentleyville Mental Health Association with the many workers and friends that she had made over the years. She is survived by a son, Blair W. Rodgers of Belle Vernon, who was adopted and raised within our loving family; two brothers, William (Lori) Novisel Jr. of Mount Airy, Md., and Barry (Mary) Novisel of Donora; an uncle, Negley (Dorothy) Rodgers Jr.; an aunt, Betty Rodgers; niece and nephews, Ashlyn Novisel, Dylan Novisel, Sean Novisel and Tyler Novisel; and many cousins, including Traci (Steve) Pawlak, Craig (Pam) Ambrose, Ted (Ruth Ann) Rodgers, Nadine Davis, Beth Ann (Ed) Pazo and Nathan Rodgers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Negley and Hildegarde Rodgers Sr.; an aunt, Donna (Winks) Ambrose, with whom she had a special relationship; an uncle, Nelson Rodgers; and cousins, Tim and Jeffrey Ambrose, Kim Davis and Lisa Rodgers. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A blessing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, in the funeral home with Father Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
