Berenice ‘Diane’ Louvar – Wauwatosa, Wis.

B. Diane (Wassil) Louvar passed away June 25, 2023, at 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred (Cupec) and Nicholas Wassil. Diane is survived by her faithful husband of 62 years, Joseph; four children, Joyce (Gary Chester), Edmund (Susan), George (Rebecca) and Claire (Cristino Canga); eight grandchildren, Grayson, Jack, Elizabeth, Melissa, Diane, Michael, Emma and Aidan; sister, Joyce Ryan; and her children, Kelly (Cloak) and Tim and their families. She was born in Donora and lived in Michigan for 45 years. After St. Dominic’s grade school and graduating valedictorian at Donora High School, she went on to Mount Mercy College (Carlow University), Carnegie Mellon and Wayne State University. Her final years were spent in Wisconsin. Diane loved her family, was well educated and did charitable work with Catholic Extension Society and Guild for the Blind.
