Gregg W. Naylor, age, 66 of Shippensburg, passed away Friday May 12, 2023 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. He was born October 24, 1956 in Belle Vernon, PA to the late Joseph W. and Janet A. (Bush) Naylor.

He was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School. Gregg was a football and wrestling athlete while in high school.

He was employed at Shippensburg University. Gregg for many years was a dedicated weight lifter. He had a great love for grilled food and cold drinks. Nothing surpassed his love for reading and listening to the Word of God and his love for his children and family. Gregg had a tremendous work ethic and was dedicated to his job and providing for his family. He helped others in need through volunteer work for many years at his local church, community projects and opening his home to those in need of a place to live. Gregg’s smile would light up the room and he was always happy to engage in friendly conversation with anyone.

Surviving are three sons; Ethan Naylor of Greencastle, Aaron Kolenc and Joseph Naylor both of Shippensburg, two brothers; Brian Naylor of Belle Vernon and Brett Naylor of FL.

Professional Services have been entrusted to the Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257. A Celebration of Life for Gregg will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Oasis of Love Church, 303 S. Washington St., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
