Charleroi legion advances to Region 6 championship

Charleroi Legion is one game away from doing something that the program hasn’t done in 39 years. Manager Luke Mollis’ team is one win away from capturing the Region 6 American Legion Tournament title. If Charleroi beats New Brighton today at 3:45 p.m. at Hutchinson Field in Uniontown, Charleroi will advance to the Legion State Tournament for the first time since 1984.
