Etched in Stone: When doctors made house calls

It was on a cold December morning in 1933 when Yours Truly made my earthly debut. I was delivered by Dr. Slotterback in a home-style hospital located on McKee Avenue near the corner of Sixth Street in Monessen. The good doctor informed my mother that I was fine and that my head was shaped like a lemon!
