Jessie Mae Bronson Grant, 77, of Monessen, went to be with our Lord on June 28, 2023, at the Havencrest Rehabilitation Center in Monongahela.  Jessie was born on July 14, 1945, daughter of the late William and Zadine Bronson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, John Bronson, Donald Payne, Russell Bronson and Sylvester Bronson; and three sisters, Cleo Whitlock, Emily Jackson and Nadine Ross. Jessie was a very devoted member of Union Baptist Church of Monessen. She held the office of senior choir director for many years and was kitchen director. Jessie is survived by her daughter, whom she loved so very much, Leenie Rae Grant; one brother, William Bronson; one sister, Noryne Corley of Monessen; godchildren, Florence Majewski, Brandon Jackson and Cordero Jackson; numerous god-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; and one stepdaughter, Dedra Grant. Viewing will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Union Baptist Church, 670 McMahon Ave., Monessen. The service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, with the Rev. Montae Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Celebration of life has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, 724-379-5420.
