Jane Sarah Martin – Perryopolis
Jane Sarah Martin, 95, of Perryopolis, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, surrounded by family. Born on Sept. 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Sarah Jane (O’Donnell) Upperman. A homemaker, Jane loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Ken) Dingler of Perryopolis; grandchildren, Karen Ann (Earl Crosby) Wiles of Belle Vernon and Briana Lynn Dingler of Perryopolis; great-grandchildren, Isaac Crosby and Nina Crosby; brother, Harry (Dorothy) Upperman of Greensburg; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Martin; and siblings, Helen Painter, Margaret Cooper, Anna May Dunn and Ted, Charles, James and William Upperman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 6. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
