Slain, D.T. State Farm pick up first win

Dax Thomas State Farm recorded its first win of the MVISBL season Monday. Four players finished in double figures to help give first-year head coach Dan Slain his first summer league victory with an 80-42 win over Monessen Florist in the final game of a tripleheader at Marx’s Court Time Sports Center.
