Mickalina Harris, 96, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in Canonsburg, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Aug. 2, 1926, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Salvator and Rosalie Cefalu Sparacino. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, former St. Cajetan Rosary Altar Society and Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Italian-American Heritage Society and a 1944 graduate of Monessen High School. An avid card player, Mickey enjoyed the company of her card club friends who are still playing well into their 90s. Some of her fondest memories were of dancing with her husband and friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Cocciolone of Rostraver Township, Michele (John) Conley of Canonsburg; granddaughter, Marissa (Adam) Cocciolone Nowak of Mt Lebanon; three grandsons, Jason Conley of Mt. Lebanon, Justin Conley of Mt. Lebanon and Dr. Anthony “AJ” Cocciolone Jr. of Greensburg; great-granddaughter, Leah Dannielle Nowak; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Wilbur, with whom she would have celebrated their 73rd anniversary; five brothers, Anthony, Salvator, Dominick, Vincent “Sputzy” and Jack Sparacino; three sisters, Eloise Baranowski, Ann LaBarbero and Vincetta Randazza; son-in-law, Dr. Anthony Cocciolone. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, beginning with a blessing service at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of our Lord Church, with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
