Ruth E. Chubboy McMillen – Perryopolis

Ruth E. Chubboy McMillen, 92, of Perryopolis, Jefferson Township, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Born Dec. 14, 1930, in Redstone Township, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth Kerekes Chubboy. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mrs. McMillen was a member of the Calvin United Presbyterian Church, Brownsville. Ruth was a retired seamstress from Perry Manufacturing and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Michael Toth of Belle Vernon, Bonnie and Frank Molek of Coal Center; two sisters, Shirley Adamerovich of Latrobe, Sarah Toth of Perryopolis; three grandchildren, Michael Toth Jr. and Brittany Endreszl, Mary Jo and Jason Livingood, Ruthann and Craig Fuller; and six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Mondine, Titon, Riley, Ava and Tessa Livingood. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. McMillen Jr. on Aug. 29, 2017; three brothers, Gilbert Chubboy Jr., George Chubboy, Louis Chubboy; and three sisters, Helen Kossol, Bertha Kimmel and Margaret Szakal. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC with Pastor Joshua Scully of Little Redstone Church officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Ruth McMillen to Little Redstone Church.
