Marshann Pankiewicz Henry, 82, of Charleroi, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, peacefully at Cambridge Hillside Senior Living with her family by her side. Born on March 11, 1941, Marshann was the daughter of the late John Pankiewicz and Mildred Generie. She married Raymond “Sonny” Henry in September 1958. After graduating from Donora High School in 1959, Marshann received her cosmetology license and operated her own salon until 1975. She was a Catholic by faith, enjoyed crocheting blankets, traveling and just taking a drive to the mountains. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Wayne and daughter-in-law, Shari Urdenis Henry; her brother Rik and sister-in-law, Susan Pankiewicz of Carroll Township; and her grandchildren, Challen, Grayson and Weston Henry, all of San Diego. She also has many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marshann was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and her grandson, Landon Henry. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will be held privately for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to either Cambridge Hillside Assisted Living or Caring Hospice in appreciation for the excellent care she received from these providers.
