Claudia A. Bird – Belle Vernon
Claudia A. Bird, 57, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, in her home. A daughter of the late Claude Evans and Judy Durisko Evans, who survives in Victory Hill, she was born on Aug. 6, 1965. A resident of Belle Vernon for 22 years, Claudia was a member of First Christian Church of Fayette City. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, especially her prize-winning Christmas stockings she made for everyone in her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Thomas W. Bird; her sisters, Cindy (Doug) Seitz of Las Vegas, Donna (Kent) Williams of Monongahela and Jackie (Jay) Repasky of Donora; and her extended family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at noon Wednesday with Pastor David Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
