Paul E. Beatty – Fallowfield Township

Paul E. Beatty, 83, of Fallowfield Township, passed away in his home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Born on May 20, 1940, he was the son of the late James and Dora Zubovic Beatty. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Coal Center and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Allenport. He was a 50-year member of Tri-County Masonic Lodge No. 252 of Donora, a past member and officer of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon International, Wa-Chee Forest No. 149 of Washington and the Odd Fellows. Paul is survived by his wife, Virginia Hough Beatty; brother, James (Mary) Beatty of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law, Betty Purdy of Ohio; and a nephew and niece and their daughter, Phil, Janice and Ashley Zabish of Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. July 8, 2023, at Grace United Methodist Church, 420 California Drive, Coal Center, PA 15423. Arrangements are entrusted to CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Concordia Hospice of Washington, especially Mary Ann, Nicole, Judy and Terah for their care.
