In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Marian Rehar Essey; sons, Michael Wyvratt of Pittsburgh, Andrew Wyvratt of Castle Shannon and Christopher Essey of Craven Hill; his faithful and loving goldendoodle, Mia; sisters, Lori Essey and Susan Essey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Rhome Funeral Home, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen. Visitation will conclude with a service at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. with Father Fred Pfeil officiating.
