Valedictorian is a family tradition for the Rices

The Rice family in Monessen has found the recipe for raising successful, happy, well-rounded kids, and the proof was on display at the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony. When Aaliyah Rice gave her speech as co-valedictorian last week, she used some words of wisdom from her older brother Justice Rice’s valedictorian speech in 2017. Both of them were inspired by their oldest sister, Desiree Rice Abrahamsen, who kicked off the family tradition in 2012.
