Janet C. Kurpieski Kandrick – North Charleroi

Janet C. Kurpieski Kandrick, 75, of North Charleroi, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2023. Born in North Charleroi on Nov. 5, 1947, Janet was the daughter of the late Edward and Thelma Martin Kurpieski. A graduate of Charleroi High School, Class of 1965, Janet worked at California University of Pennsylvania for over 40 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Mon Valley Serra Club and an active member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi site. Janet will be remembered as a kind, caring person who loved her friends like family. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kurpieski. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023, at Saint Andrew the Apostle – Charleroi site, 624 Washington Ave. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
