William Pacak, 89, of Pricedale, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in his home. A son of the late Andy and Helen Voytilla Pacak, he was born in Monessen on Sept. 27, 1933. Formerly of Monessen, William has been a resident of Pricedale for almost 60 years. He had been employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen plant, and retired in 1995. William was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Hungarian Club in Pricedale. He was very handy and could fix anything and always grew a wonderful garden. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth “Tippy” Sedlak Pacak; a son, Billy Pacak of Pricedale; a granddaughter, Tess Pacak of Los Angeles; and five brothers, “Pike” Pacak of Monessen, Vic Pacak of Modesto, Calif., Myron Pacak, Larry Pacak of Modesto, Calif., and Bob Pacak of Stewartsville, Pa. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Alan Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
