Patricia Gillingham – Donora

Patricia Gillingham, 91, of Donora, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at TLC Adult Care Center in West Newton. She was born in Donora, daughter of the late Reginald P. Gillingham and the late Mildred R. Karry Gillingham. She worked at Gimbels Department Store in Pittsburgh and then at the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, from which she retired in 1997. After retiring, she volunteered at the Donora Senior Center and Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Donora until its closing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Reginald G. Gillingham. Surviving to cherish her memory are her niece, Judy G. (Dennis) Fowler; grand-niece, Jennifer L. Fowler; grand- nephew, Dennis J. (Christina) Fowler; great-nephews and great-niece, Aiden and Colton Fowler, Emma and Gavin Geary; and a cousin, Penny Weise (James) Bigelow. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where private family visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
