Anthony L. Reno – Monessen
Anthony L. Reno, 84, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was born on Oct. 14, 1938, in Monessen, son of the late Louis and Marianne Mascetta Reno. He was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, Arnold City PNA, Belle Vernon Russian Club, Italian Society of Mutual Aid, American Legion Post 659, Knights of Columbus Council 954 and was a graduate of Monessen High School, Class of 1956. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport plant. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley L. Sacharov Reno; son, Anthony Mark Reno of Belle Vernon; daughter, Laura Ann (Donald) Gray of Confluence, Pa.; four grandsons, Christian and Anthony Mark Reno Jr., and Donny and Justin Gray; granddaughter, Lauren (Chris) Hause; five great-grandchildren, Lakin, Carter and Storm Gray, and Owen and Matteo Hause; and sister, Lucille Belleza of Monessen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Dolores Assenat. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, beginning with a blessing service at 9:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J.
