Bonnie E. Snyder, 90, of North Charleroi, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, at the Cambridge Hillside Personal Care Home. Born in Monessen on Nov. 16, 1932, Bonnie was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Brown Koons. Bonnie worked as a nurse’s aide at Mon Valley Hospital for over 21 years until her retirement. A member of Gospel Alliance Church, Bonnie was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by her many friends whom she loved dearly. Bonnie will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Surviving to cherish Bonnie’s memory is her daughter, Lorriann (Steve) Sergi, with whom she made her home for over 25 years; and her son, William (Cynthia) Snyder; her grandchildren, Rachelle (Patrick Garman) Jones, Jesse and Justin Snyder and Derek (Jamie) Sergi; great-grandchildren, J. Allen, Peyton, Landon and Kolton Snyder, Brayden, Alycia and Cameryn Bowser and Brantley David Sergi; her sister, Shirley (Tom) Riley; and her fur-baby, Kane. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Charles Snyder; her daughter, Cheryl Martuicc; grandson, Jeremy Snyder; sisters, Mary and Levina; and her brothers, John, Sherman, Russell and Marvin. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. inside the funeral home with doors opening at 9 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
