Cal ‘sticks’ it to No. 1 Union as Trojans’ legend grows

Sometimes a high school baseball game can be like a rollercoaster. So many ups and downs, twists and turns. Who knows what will happen in a given game? On Tuesday at Washington & Jefferson College’s Ross Memorial Park, California sent shock waves in Class 1A by upsetting two-time defending champion and top-seed Union, 9-6, in the semifinal round thanks to three runs in the top of the seventh inning.
