Edna M. Budd, 105, of Kingwood, W.Va., died Saturday, May 20, 2023. Born in Donora on April 25, 1918, she was the daughter of the late William Lawrence and Irma Lynch Clark. A homemaker, Edna was a former member of First Baptist Church in West Newton and had also attended Westernport United Methodist Church in Maryland. She loved cooking, baking, shopping, knitting and making ceramics. As a true homemaker, Edna enjoyed cleaning her house! She is survived by her daughters, Betty Lou (James) Lutton of Westernport, Md., and Beverly Jean Conner of Kingwood, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Markle Budd; son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Mona C. Budd; granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Lutton; son-in-law, Leon Paul Conner; and her in-laws, Benjamin F. and Oletta V. Markle Budd. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Windy Hill Village and West Virginia Caring for their kind and compassionate care, and a special thank you to Dr. Michael Schwarzenberg.
