Myrtie F. Rechichar – Rostraver Township

Myrtie F. Rechichar, 89, of Rostraver Township, died Saturday, May 13, 2023. Born in New Tazewell, Tenn., on July 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hester Hill DeBusk. Myrtie was the last surviving member of her family. Myrtie owned and operated Myrtie’s Beauty Salon in Belle Vernon, Perryopolis and Fisher Heights. She enjoyed crafts and tole painting. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Pat (Bill) Reed of Savoy, Ill., Dennis (Michele) Chadwell of Rostraver, John Chadwell of Tazewell, Tenn., and Donald (Lisa) Rechichar of Rostraver; grandchildren, Brian Reed, Laurel (David) Rosch, Melanie (Robert) Clubb, Megan (Mark) Kasimirsky, Sean (Nicole) Chadwell, Zachery Chadwell (Haley Evans), Lacey Jo (Grant) Evans, Donald “DJ” (Tiffany) Rechichar, Lance (Brook) Rechichar and Daisie-Mae Rechichar; and 14 great-grandchildren, with a new great-grandchild to be born soon! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Bert” Rechichar; brothers, James, Stanley and Frank DeBusk; sisters, Ruth Muncy, Ruby Muncy and Georgia Whitaker; and great-grandson, Preston Evans. A private family visitation was held at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, followed by private interment in Olive Branch Cemetery.
