James E. Holiday – Somerset, Pa.

James E. Holiday, 87, of Somerset, Pa., passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023. He is a son of the late James E. Holiday and Pauline Hrisk Mancinelli. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Janice (Bauer) Holiday; sons, Roderick Morgan Holiday and Dennis Stewart; and sister, Shirley Laneve. James is survived by his loving wife, Jovina Holiday; children, Suzette Holiday, Erin (Danielle) Holiday and Jeffrey (Sandra) Stewart. He is also survived by grandchildren, Farrell (James) DiBart, Nicholas (Kristine) Holiday, Jacquelyn (Jacob) Crippes, Robert (Amanda) Stewart, Paul (Katie) Stewart and Courtney (Eric) Wallingsford; and great-grandchildren, James and Esme Ohrt, James and Charlotte Crippes and Isabella and Colin Stewart. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 110 S. Edgewood Ave., Somerset, PA 15501. Private inurnment will be held at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements by MILLER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of Somerset. The family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394, in James’s memory.
