Monessen makes final payment on TAN loan

The City of Monessen’s financial picture could not look more different today from the viewpoint this time a year ago. Instead of starting the year with about $9,000 in the general fund and having to borrow money from the line usage fund just to make the first payroll of 2022, the city began 2023 by being approved for its first Tax Anticipation Note in several years.
