The Mon Valley Pro Wrestling “Supreme Wrestling Series” will unite local fans and wrestlers for the next few months starting this Sunday at the Charleroi Market House.
The series kicks off at 3 p.m. Sunday, followed by events June 11, July 9 and Aug. 13 at the Charleroi Market House, 427 McKean Ave.
Admission is $20 and events will take place rain or shine.
Doors open for Sunday’s event at 2 p.m. Bell time is 3 p.m.
Sunday’s show will feature a slight variation to the card after up-and-coming West Virginia wrestler Nate Thompson tragically died in a vehicle accident. He went by Ryan James in the ring.
The event will now feature a 20-man battle royale, similar to a WWE Royal Rumble, in Thompson’s honor.
Other matchups include the world’s most traveled wrestler as featured in Forbes Magazine, Matt Cross or M-Dogg 20, who will face off against former MVP champion Tyler Grayson and Sinborn in a triple-threat-match.
MVP Masters Champion Bill Bain will defend his title against undefeated Lestat.
