Denise Sichi Campbell – Eighty Four

By obits

Denise Sichi Campbell, beloved mother of three, wife, and grandmother, passed away on May 2, 2023, in her home surrounded by family. She was 69 years old. She is survived by her husband, Tom Campbell; her sons, Tom Jr. and Mark (Victoria Sysol); her daughter, Katie (Ryan Kmick); her granddaughter Nylah; her sister Lee Ann Femiani; and several nieces and nephews. Denise was born on July 30, 1953, in New Eagle. She was a 1971 graduate of Ringgold High School, and she attended Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, W.Va. She and her husband Tom proudly took ownership of Sichi Farm Supply, a local John Deere dealership, from her parents, Roger and Mary Sichi. For many years they were role models for aspiring business owners. She was also the owner of Little Dear Daycare Center in Eighty Four. They loved traveling and camping in West Virginia, bird watching and anything involving nature and the outdoors. She was an amazing cook who dedicated her life to celebrating her Italian culture, sharing her traditions with others and spreading love and kindness wherever she went. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for her family. Her love for them knew no bounds. Her husband, children and granddaughter were her world. She made everyone she met feel like they were her best friend. Her compassion touched countless lives, and she was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her family and the individuals she touched with her kindness and generosity. Friends and family will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 3 p.m. Rest in peace, Denise. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy of love, positivity and selflessness will live on forever. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (pitt.edu) or the Washington Area Humane Society, The Voice for the Voiceless (washingtonpashelter.org). Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
