Margaret Louise Burgoyne, 95, of Monongahela, passed away quietly at home on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born July 20, 1927, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Martin and Anna Siba Zelinsky. Margaret is survived by four sons, Herbert Ashton Jr. of Boise, Idaho, and David (Deb) Ashton Sr., James (Cheryl) Burgoyne Jr. and Gary Burgoyne, all of Monongahela; two daughters, Marjorie Burgoyne and Deanna (Hosie) Cook, all of Monongahela; three grandchildren, David Ashton Jr. (Jackie), Chris and Cindy Ashton; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Burgoyne; former husband, Herbert Ashton Sr.; daughter, Valerie Sloan, four brothers, John (Martha) Zelinsky, Martin (Margaret) Zelinsky, Joseph (Christena) Zelinsky and Thomas Zelinsky; and three sisters, Anna (Mike) Fetchen, Mary (Frank) Puskarich and Theresa (John) Flowers. Visitations and funeral services were private. Margaret was laid to rest in the Monongahela Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela.
