California Area receives Green Ribbon Schools honor

A Mon Valley school district has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for environmental sustainability efforts. California Area was one of three Pennsylvania honorees through the Green Ribbon Schools program. Hillendale Elementary School in Chadds Ford and West Chester University were also selected.
