Gloria L. Pansino, 91, of Louisville, Ohio, formerly of Charleroi, passed away on April 25, 2023, following a brief illness. She was born in Perryopolis, on Aug. 1, 1931, to Joseph and Catherine Yenchick Gantner. Gloria was valedictorian of Marion High School Class of 1948. She was raised on a family farm as one of 10 children. Following school, she worked at Gene and Boots Candy and Fox Grocery. She served two years as PTA President at Fallowfield Elementary School. She was also a longtime member of the Mon Valley Hospital Auxiliary. Gloria was a friend and neighbor to all and was always willing to help others. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Pansino Sr., in 2004 and seven siblings. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Terrence Pansino and Dr. Elizabeth Prosser; grandchildren, Thomas (Beth) Pansino and Timothy Pansino; great-grandson, Milo; brother, Thomas (Liz) Gantner; and sister, Alvera Zolock. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
