Mario Ugo Sirianni – Donora

Mario Ugo Sirianni, 87, of Donora, Pa., passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. He was born on July 13, 1935, in Petrona Calabria, Italy, the son of the late Filippo Sirianni and the late Anastasia Colosimo Sirianni. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Mario emigrated to America in 1955 and was a lifelong self-employed cabinet maker. He also was an avid gardener and winemaker. In addition to his parents, Mario was preceded in death by two sisters, Ermalinda and Giuseppina; and two brothers, Armando and Gino. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Angelina Talarico Sirianni; four children, Annarita Sirianni of Donora, Philip Pino Sirianni of Pittsburgh, Dino (Gina) Sirianni of Peters Township and Patricia (Mark) Torreano of Aldie, Va.; and three grandchildren. Vincenzo Sirianni, Dominic Sirianni and Francesca Torreano. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Donora Campus, at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, Pa.
