Rostraver Township hears zoning change proposal from luxury-home builder

Discussions centered around proposals to rezone land, grant proposals and fake social media accounts during Rostraver Township commissioner’s work session Wednesday night.
A group associated with Canonsburg-based Scarmazzi Homes opened the meeting with a proposal to change the majority of a 136.8 acre property off Indian Hill Road from agricultural to single-family residential zoning.
According to the company’s website, Scarmazzi Homes has been “building lifestyle-rich homes and vibrant neighborhoods throughout the Pittsburgh region” for the past two decades.
