Rosemary Lesko Manion, 75, of Seneca Hills Village, Verona, formerly of Charle- roi and Pittsburgh, died Monday, April 17, 2023, following a long, courageous battle with multiple health issues, after beating the odds 29 years ago. She is the beloved wife of the late John P. Manion; mother of Donna (Brian) Clark, John B. (Rachel) Manion and Chrissy (Chris) Yeager; grandmother of Brittany (Randy) Miles, Josh (Jennifer) Bachetti, John T., Jenna and Megan Manion, Courtney and Cole Yeager; great-grandmother of Lorenzo, Vanessa, Caleb, and Lyla; and sister of George (Valerie) Lesko. She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. An animal lover, she leaves behind her beloved cats, Penny and Sheldon. Rosemary was a member of PALS and enjoyed playing bingo with her bingo club. Prior to retirement, she worked as a manager at various retail shops. In her spare time, she loved taking trips to the beach and trying her luck in the casinos with her friends. Her truest love was that of her family and her cats. She was a devoted matriarch and will be greatly missed by all. Friends received from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Soxman Funeral Homes Ltd./Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills. Mass of Christian burial is set for 10 a.m. (which to best honor Rosemary will begin at 10:05 a.m.!) Friday in St. Susanna Church of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in Christ Our Redeemer/Northside Catholic Cemetery.
