In the shower or in the car, in the kitchen or on the serving floor, you know what they say: All the world’s a stage.
Members of the McKeesport Little Theatre intend to bring the concept to life with their Sing n’ Serve spaghetti dinner 2 to 6 p.m. April 22 at the Main Pavillion in Renzie Park.
Little Theatre President Jennifer Vertullo said unlike previous theater spaghetti dinners, this one brings the stage right to your table.
After visiting New York City with Little City junior actors over the years, Vertullo said the troop picked up a thing or two off Broadway.
“There’s a restaurant in New York, near Times Square: Ellen’s Stardust Diner,” Vertullo said. “We love it there. And the people who work there, lots of them moved to New York because they want to be actors.
“And while they wait for a chance to perform, they work day jobs – service industry jobs. So at this diner, they practice performing at work. Why not do both?”
