Debora Lelik, age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Debora attended Mon Valley Catholic High School, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at only 17 years old, but she never let that stop her from living a fulfilling and happy life. Debora was a die-hard Penguins fan and if she couldn’t go to the games, she would be sure to watch her Penguins. She worked as an attorney for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the State Workers Insurance Fund until illness forced her to retire. Debora was preceded in death by both of her parents, Edward and Jeanie Lelik. Debora leaves behind many lifelong friends and will be eternally missed. Arrangement entrusted to JOHN N. ELACHKO FUNERAL HOME, 3447 Dawson St., Pittsburgh, PA 15213. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. No flowers please; memorial contributions can be made to Longwood at Oakmont or the MS Society in Debora’s name. Please visit Debora’s memorial page at ELACHKO.com.
