Yough tops Connellsville in 10th

Monday’s season-opening softball game between Connellsville and Yough featured two teams willing to go the extra mile for a victory. In a battle of two evenly-matched teams, the Cougars managed to score a run in the 10th inning, then held on for a hard-fought 4-3 victory over the host Falcons.
