Linda M. Sasko Walters, 74, of Donora, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, in her home. Born Jan. 7, 1949, in Charle- roi, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Villella Sasko. After graduating in 1967 from the former Donora High School, she attended Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in Charleroi. Catholic by faith, Linda worked for over 25 years for (Bell Telephone) Verizon, until her retirement in 2009 and enjoyed collecting antiques and always looked forward to spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Aaron (Amy) Walters of Finleyville and Stephen Walters of Charleroi; a daughter, Melissa (Joe) Whaley of Monongahela; a brother, Drew (Catherine) Sasko of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Taylor (Zach) Smith, Tyler and Nolan Walters, and Nicholas, Abbigale, Aidyn and Zacharey Whaley; two brothers-in-law, Jay Anthony and Larry Walter; and a sister-in-law, Gina Walters; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard “Bud” Walters, who died June 23, 1976; a sister, Karen Anthony; and a granddaughter, Hanna Whaley. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, with a service starting at 11 a.m. Thursday.
