New security firm hired for McKeesport schools

McKeesport Area School District hired a new security firm Wednesday, doubling current security staff throughout the district. The board brought on security firm Homeland Intelligence for three years. Solicitor Gary Matta said the district will pay an estimated $347,000 the first year, $356,000 the second and $370,000 the third.
