Marcella Jean Surovchak, 86, of Woodstock. Ga., formerly of Rostraver Township, passed away on March 21, 2023, at The Reserve at Towne Lake, Woodstock, Ga. She was born on May 3, 1936, to the late Chester and Stella (Creevy) Smith in Monessen. Marci attended St. Leonard’s Catholic School, graduated from Monessen High School with the Class of 1954 and was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with her family, reading and cross-stitching. She married Richard J. Surovchak in January 1957, and they had four boys. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Kimberly) Surovchak of Woodstock, Ga., and Scott (Gloria) Surovchak of Arvada, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Tami Surovchak of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Jessica, Allyson, Casey, Jake and Dakota Surovchak, and Theodor J. and Joseph McAleer; great- grandchildren, Eloise Mae, Graysen, Lylah McAleer, Elle and Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Surovchak; two sons, William and Robert Surovchak; two brothers, Lloyd Bubar and Gerald Smith; and her sister, Marlyn Nader. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Friends and family are asked to meet at 11 a.m. Monday at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017, where services will be held with Father David J.
