New candidates on the ballot in Westmoreland County

The landscape of Westmoreland County’s Mon Valley municipal governments will likely look a little different next year as there are new faces throughout the local races. In Monessen, there are two, four-year terms up for grabs this year. Incumbent Democrat Don Gregor has not filed to run for reelection, but fellow incumbent Democrat Lois Thomas has filed to run for another term. Joining her will be Republican Karen Cosner.
