Grant to fund landslide repairs in Elizabeth Twp.

Elizabeth Township will be awarded an $862,000 Local Share Account grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority for landslide and  repairs on Forest Hill Road. State Rep. Andrew Kuzma, R-Elizabeth Township, announced the grant. CFA distributes gaming revenues to support public projects in Pennsylvania. Kuzma explained that the selection process is competitive, but the fact that deteriorating road conditions could potentially leave Smithdale cut off from the rest of the area without repairs made the project suitable for grant funding.
