Anthony Lazzari – Normalville, formerly of Donora

Anthony Lazzari, 67, of Normalville, formerly of Donora, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 18, 2023, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was born May 23, 1955, in New Eagle, son of the late Eugene A. and Betty Jane Angelo Lazzari. Anthony was a 1973 graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School. He was self-employed in the construction business, working in the Mon Valley and surrounding areas. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by three sisters, Mary (Randy) Winkleblech of New Eagle, Claire Lazzari of Donora and Beth (Tom) Lutz of Finleyville; nieces and nephews, Monica (Lorenzo) Gardner, RT (Brea) Lowe, Jeremy (Courtney) Lazzari, Joshua (Kate) Lazzari, Joe Lazzari and Ryan, Shannon and Haley Lutz; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his mountain family, Flo, Shannon and Charlie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Harbaugh. The family would like to especially thank Shannon for adopting and taking care of his beloved dog, Leah. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. Memorial contributions may be made to Fayette Friends of Animals, P.O.
